One Pan Fudge Cake recipe

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar
Chocolate Icing
1 cup granulated sugar
6 Tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 milk
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Garnish with freshly chopped strawberries and chocolate curls.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In an ungreased 9 x 13 pan, sift all dry ingredients.

Add the liquids and stir just until blended.

Place into the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes.

Chocolate Icing

Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt, and cocoa in a medium sauce pan. Whisk in the milk.

Stir constantly, heat over medium until it gets thick and starts to boil.

Continue stirring and boil for 1-2 minutes or until very thick. Remove from heat and stir in oil and vanilla.

Allow to cool to room temperature, then spread over the top of your cooled cake.

Garnish with chocolate curls and fresh berries.
