1 tub (8 oz.) cream cheese spread
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup slivered toasted almonds
1/4 teaspoon ground red cayenne pepper
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh chives

Mix all the ingredients except the parmesan cheese and chives together and form into 1 or 2 balls.
Stir the finely chopped chives into the parmesan cheese.
Roll the balls in the chive and parmesan cheese mixture.
Refrigerate, covered for several hours before serving.
Make the cheeseballs part of a festive plate and serve with crackers and raw vegetables.
